FLASH Digital Ad Campaign

Brand Identity Refresh / Digital Ad Campaign / Motion Design

Role: Art Direction and Design

Work done for BatesMeron Sweet Design Agency

FLASH is an industry leader in Parking and EV Charging technology. To celebrate their success in the parking industry, as well as consolidate their many verticals, they reached out to BatesMeron to create the look and feel of their Where Next visual refresh.

As the Art Director for this project, I was tasked with bringing coherence to such a robust and diverse company. To achieve this, I created a refreshed Brand Style Guide. From color schemes to typography and photography, this guide became the cornerstone of Flash’s creative approach.

Adaptable Photography

Facing a shortage of original assets, we unleashed our creativity to sculpt Flash’s dynamic identity solely from stock imagery. Anticipating Flash’s ongoing evolution, our chosen visuals ensured a narrative that seamlessly aligned with the brand’s ever-changing essence.

Taking an A/B Test Drive

We orchestrated a varied collection of ads, enabling Flash to conduct A/B testing with different copy and dynamic formats—ranging from static and carousel to motion ads.

This strategic approach provided our client with the precision to identify the most effective combinations tailored to their audiences on each platform.

We used static ads to capture attention with concise language and bold visuals, designed to deliver a powerful impact in a single glance.

Carousel Ads

We harnessed the power of storytelling through our deployment of carousel ads, crafted to captivate audiences in an interactive swipe-driven journey.

Adding Motion

We integrated motion into our ad campaign through the use of GIFs, empowering Flash to forge meaningful connections with their audiences in the digital era.

A successful Campaign

BatesMeron’s LinkedIn ads outperformed Flash’s legacy ads with an impressive 74% increase in click-through rate. Our ads garnered 18,103 impressions compared to 9,385 for Flash’s legacy ads.
